He is fully qualified as a manufacturing engineer and has many years of experience in medical device manufacturing, Construction, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Finbarr Filan of Centra commits hugely to his community and assists in town centre management. Currently, Finbarr is chair of the purple flag team, chair of the Saint Patrick's Day festival committee, and much more. Finbarr also served 3 years as the first chair of Sligo BID and is currently a board member.
